Sony Considers "St. Elmo's Fire" Sequel - Dark Horizons​
I have to assume we're running out of revival properties as Sony looks to make a very belated sequel which will act as a book end with the cast returning for a film that looks at the opposite ends of their lives.

Which game mechanics have made you go, "oh wow, that is most cool, sir"?

One mechanic that comes straight to mind, is the camo-meter in Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater.
You can slip into a more beneficial camo frock which matches your current surroundings.

Sunk about 3 hours into the PS5 version and am enjoying it immensely. I don't know if the gameplay will expand as the game progresses but so far it plays like an open world Dark Souls with a plethora of tweaks, refinements and revisions to the Souls series' tried and tested mechanics....
