Ok, Game have a new trade in policy where you can trade four games in working order for *any* game priced ?39.99 or less for 99p.

Is this not a great opportunity to buy a few of those crap games going for a fiver all over the place and trading them in for any brand new title, effectively for ?20?

Apparently all 4 games have to be different (so no trading in 4 copies of FIFA 2002) and all games must be boxed and come with manual. That's it! Now go take GAME to the cleaners!

I got a crazed phone call from teodi about this deal.

This is a perfect opportunity to get those games you wouldn't pay full whack for.

He bought 4 second hand games in gamestation for the total of ?12 and traded them in plus a ?1 for a brand spanking new copy disgae(sp?) at game.

He's going back to get twin snakes. You cannot loose.

Yes it does work and I've rinsed it.
The only terms are that they have to be boxed with instructions in good condition and all seperate games.

What makes it even better is that I got staff discount on all them (bar the cube one) so they cost me ?2.09 each

I got Diseaga for me, LMA '04 and FFX2 for R kid. At the costly sum of ?23.98. Back of the net, TBH.

What will happen with these traded games at the GAME I work in is that they will be resold at 14.97 mostly or 2 for ?25. And you'd be shocked at the number of people that will buy them at that price thinking they are getting a good offer. It will be hard to shift stuff like the 1st Pro Evo/older Fifa's, but most will be sold from my experience as 2 for ?25.
Usually there is a clause that states only certain games, not this time though. All of the cheap (read sub ?10 games) pre-owned games have been pulled of the shelf though so they aren't being caught out that way.

And our regional manager O.K'd it beforehand.
Staff purchases of ****e PS2 games have rocketed.
Fight Night, Euro 2004 and Harry Potter aren't our top selling products, Smash cars and Freaky Flyers are

Don't worry for game though, from experience the vast majority of games traded in for ?10 max under this offer will be sold for ?15 or 2 for ?25.

It is quite unbelievable and i was saying this in a PM to bowser. I just could not believe it, i have pinned my receipt on my notice board in delight.

It shows me trading in 4 shocking games to the value of ?23 and getting a ?39.99 game for a quid. Its completely and utterly crazy.

We do have a Bargins thread for this sort of thing, but since this is such a good deal and it ends today (according to my local) I may as well leave this thread as it is.
