I wouldn't put any money on it hitting that date - KoF 00/01 has now been pushed back to March 4th, and like I said earlier, I can't see Ignition releasing the two within a week of each other.

What's worse with SVC Chaos, all the major game mags have full-page advertisements for it this month, which is being practically wasted thanks to guff release dates. Do 3 people work at ignition or something? might as well flush cash down the bog.

Weird, MI has been out a while now here in Holland. I don't see why they couldn't release it in the UK as well.

The problem seems to be that Ignition themselves have handled the port of 00/01 from PS2 to Xbox. I think, anyway - it's not coming out in Japan or the US, from the looks of things, and the email I received from them (posted eariler in this thread) mentioned that this is the "first time" that it's been released for Microsoft's console. The lack of Live support also suggests that it's a homegrown port.

And it looks like it's not gone as smoothly as expected. Again, check that email - there's the suggestion that it initially failed to meet Microsoft's quality control guidelines.

Think about it from a business point of view. Releasing SVC or 02/03 before 00/01 makes no sense as those two are both Live-enabled - the market for 00/01 is small enough as it is without it being released after games which have more multiplayer features.

At the end of the day, the SNK games are simply an easy and cheap - I'm guessing that the European rights weren't particularly expensive - way for Ignition to help finance their own in-house titles. You can't blame them for that. Their mistake appears to have been not putting enough thought into how difficult the 00/01 port would be, which has knocked everything else out of whack.

I could be wrong, though. Anyone know the parentage of Xbox 00/01 for sure?

Burnley Gamestation has 3 Psyvariars in the Xplosive packaging for a tenner each, they've been there since December.

Ignition's reply was SVC is down for early april, with XBox KOF still TBA...

I somehow think 00/01 is lucking more likely to just get canned...
