Character designs were shown for Shenmue III at the movie premiere, and it is supposed to have been scripted - I think they were going to cram the rest of the story into one final game. Supposedly 150 events from Shenmue III will appear in Shenmue Online.

I still hope that one day we may see III - perhaps as a collection of all three games with an updated gfx engine. That would be one mamoth game

Back to the thread, I always wanted to see what Sex and Drugs and Rock 'n' Roll was like by Sensible Software.

A commercial release for Thrill Kill would be nice too.

and a Monkey Ball Dreamcast port would be good.

Sonic Xtreme! If SOJ hadn't stuck their big noses in then that game would have been immense.

        Anyone here remember Picasso?

It was due to come out early on in the DCs life and looked stunning, it was meant to be quite a stealthy game. The idea of the game was that you were a Art theif, and you had to sneak into the Gallerys, and steal the master piece/s all without getting noticed.

Also you never had anything lethal to use, I remember seeing 2 pics, one of him on the roof of the gallery, about to use some hi tech to try and get in, and one where you were cholofoaming a guard...

Think SC and your getting there...

        Shame it never appared

          Thrill Kill was bloody awful!

I also really loved the look of Exo in its untextured stage, looked very bleak yet likeable and just...interesting.

I know this is going to sound really petty, but could the tread author please edit and correct the title?

            It's "could've", not "could of".

Not to sound petty, but the title says "should of happened" can someone please change it to "should HAVE happened"

There was one on Amiga years ago, kind of command and conquer combined with Cannon Fodder.
It was a french game and it was always in Zero. You could play in different scenarios like world war 1, and the wild west using the same game engine. It looked pretty lush for the time.

Gore from Psygnosis, the Street Fighter 2 beater, apparently (think Gladiator)

                      BC looked pretty nice....

                          Excitebike 128

Left Field Productions were making a sequel to 1080 Snowboarding and Excitebike 64, but Nintendo stopped working with LFP in 2002 and 1080 Avalanche was developed internally at NST.

Shame I really liked Excitebike 64.

                          And Shenmue 3

I would like to see Raven Blade. Still got that VHS (I got it with NGC-mag) with trailer of Raven Blade (and other GameCube-games), but that's the closest I'll ever get to Raven Blade as long as it remains cancelled ...

Also, I would like to see Dead Phoenix and of course Shenmue III (even though I haven't finished Shenmue II yet). But Shenmue (the first one) was amazing!

I once saw some screenies of this game on the PS2 that looked like it had the graphics of full spec Doom 3. I can't for the love of me remember what it was called, but it looked absolutely stunning.

Try MTX Mototrax on the XB/PS2, it's made by Leftfield and is actually pretty damn good. Worth the ?11 i found it for on eBay anyway.
