Wicked game, once you understood what it was trying to do. Too many people didn't take it for what it was.

    Music was quality too...

Actually, I hated the music in P.N.03 and thought it was the weakest part - absolutely MOR uninspired techno... Capcom could've and should've done so much better... wasted opportunity.

I thought exactly the same thing. Very forgettable.

One series I've always loved is the Shotokou Battle series, but it's an aquired taste. My friends just don't see the attraction of racing down straight roads.

Koudelka on PS1. This reviewed sooo badly, and is widely laughed at, but I loved it. The battle music is stunning, and the overall feel of the game is ace. Little easy though.

I really just wanna pimp this game as an unknown title that people can probably pick up very cheap on Ebay, like I did. The best way I can describe it is a downhill BMX version of Road Rash, with massive drops and vicious hits, and lots of speed. That has to entice a few people to take the punt. It's well worth it. It has a different PAL name that I can't think of of the top of my head.
it's SSX on bikes... best way to describe it, and as a bit of a mountainbike buff i find it pretty damn fun to play, especially lobbing waterbottles at the other riders.

Not only that, you could have a two player splitscreen full 1 player league so you and a buddy could Rush competitively, without having some crapola diluted "arcade" face off mode.
Couldnt agree more about SF Rush. I think I played that more than any other racer apart from GT3. Its on the next Midway Classics disk along with Hydro Thunder (another neo classic)!! Thank you Midway!!!!!!

One game I particulary got into that took a beating in reviews was another Midway N64 arcare conversion. It was called "Mace", a 3d swordfighting game with the nastiest fatalities this side of Mogadishu. I remember one where this big dude inserts his sword where the sun doesnt shine and impales all the way up...top stuff!!

                    Final Fantasy X-2.

This game gets a good slagging even at FF fansites, and much more of a slagging everywhere else too... but it was the most fun I'd had in a game.

I mean, it wasn't exactly the most epic RPG ever... but it wasn't really supposed to be. It really just rounds off and complements the original FFX. Anyone who played FFX to completion should enjoy it... with so much to do, there's plenty of play time there, and you'll get so attached to the characters come the end of the game that you won't want to finish the game and leave the world of Spira.

Frankly, this is how a sequal of this nature should be done - a complementary game which does not damage the integrity of the original game. An FFX sequal is conceptually terrible, but they pulled it off IMO.

The original Grand Theft Auto games.

Whenever you read a review of the new 3D ones it always says that the first ones were pretty ****, but I think they are actually a whole lot more enjoyable.

The first GTA game was ace, especially the multiplayer portion of it. Same goes for GTA2 really, the multiplayer on the PC version was great. The singleplayer wasn't too shabby either

Have to agree on the 1080 and mario kart DD, both amazing games.

was a fan of cybersled on the PSone too, arcade version was great fun, and despite them making a monkeys breaksfast of the conversion, it was still vaguely playable.

They were only "pretty ****" according to people who can't cope with top-down games. I love the original GTA, and 2 isn't bad either.

Actually, for all I was looking forward to it, I've hardly played San Andreas since I got it (I'm really struggling with new targeting system, and I can't find any wanted star pickups so between the two end up dying a hell of a lot), but I've played a fair bit of old-school GTA again.
