Am I the only one wondering why you've taken 12 pics of the machine? or why there is an Ipod on top of it

        Go me!

I've edited the links. There's an iPod on it because a) they're both white and b) it's the law

          DAMN YOU DAZZLA!!!

I promised (no, swore to) myself that I wouldn't even consider buying another PSP - but tbh, I've always admired the white PSP from afar and your finely-detailed comparisons and pictures aren't helping me keep to that promise!!

You see people with GBA's paying ?20/5 for mario advance games and you can download it for **** all for the PSP and play it on a bigger screen. Crazy isn't it.

Ummmm, you really should blank out his MAC address in that second picture. I'm sure most of us are reasonible, but the odd leek hacksaw kiddie might be viewing and take it and use it if possible.

Still not convinced on the white, but maybe i need to see it in person like people have said. When are they due in the UK?

you do need to see it in person yes, not really seen a pic yet which has done it 100% justice, don't even know if they are coming to Europe ?

Nothing has been announced yet for Europe, but judging how long it took Sony to get the silver one here, don't hold your breath.

Will I encounter any difficulties in getting a JAP white over a UK black? Or does all this firmware downgrading sort everything out? Also whats the score on UMD's? Are they being downloaded badly now or are they multiregion?

There was a shop down my way doing them for ?180, how much are they online, if you dont get taxed that is? Where would be the best place to get one, is there a decent mem stick/white value pack bundle?

Thanks for the advice buddy. I'll remove the picture, just incase!

Mine arrived today from YesAsia (they sent it via DHL for the standard vat-free delivery option)

It looks great and no dead pixels (just a shame the two screen protectors I had are crap so I need to wait for a new one). The raised buttons seem a little strange, there does seem to be a lot more movement because they are raised on the rubber holders.

As others have said, build quality does seem to have been improved, the UMD drive doesn't rattle like it did on my first gen black PSP and the shoulder buttons also seem to be improved.

Games so far are region free, Film UMD wise, will play JPN and Euro ones (both DVD Region 2) but wireless wise, both games (doesn't matter where console is from) must be from the same region (JPN/USA/Euro) or won't work.
