Original Xbox Games Playable on Xbox 360

I gots the US region free version of Doom 3 and i'll give that i try tomorow.

I really had hoped we might get Street Fighter 3 or Outrun 2006. These are the games I really really want to play on 360

I own 4 XBOX titles, -Halo 2.. ,Mashed, Unreal championship 2, &kung fu Kaos . Only Halo works.Really I don't think that's goodenough.

Got Doom 3 LE for 25 kiwi bucks. it froze on 360 after about 30 minutes.

Don't know if it was before, but the Area 51 demo on the oxm is running really well, as does the Otogi 2 demo.

Really? That's weird, I just tried the original Otogi 2 but it says it's unsupported. Maybe they're working on it for the next update? I hope so, I love the Otogi games and I still have to finish them.

Rallisport is imo one of the best looking XB1 games ever made. For a 1st gen title, it's a breathtaking piece of work.

I really hope no2 gets BC soon, as it's the best rally game, and I really enjoyed it on Live!

Off to find a cheap copy of Rallisport and I am sure I saw it in the 2 for ?5 in GAME.

Some games that are on Xbox 1 demo disks will run on 360, DOA 2 Ultimate being one of them. This game runs fine so I don't know why it's not on the list. My only reason I can think of is that its the Xbox Live element holding up a lot of back compat games as they require more testing and that's resources MSFT won't put into the back compat department.

Totaly agree, the thing the 360 is missing is a decent rally game but i would be more than happy if they stuck rallisport two on backwards compatability

You need the Xmas 2004 OXM Demo disc (Issue 37) as a lot of the early OXM demo's will work and so you can play the likes of O.TO GI II and FSW onthe 360. Just shows with a bit of work these games should come. Also the demo of Conkers now runs a little bit onthe 360 till mine crashed

So 360 owners have to buy DOA IV to play online , |'m sure that why there's a lot of EA games not on that list nor the likes of ESPN 2K5 (not to upset EA)

Yup, there's a lot of xbox 1 demo disks that run on 360, you can get all kinds of stuff not on the supported game list running.

A few people at EuroGamer say that the UK version of Fatal Frame 'Project Zero' does not work. Is that true?

Pretty sure it is.
The missus said she tested her copy (as well as PZ2) on a mates 360, and neither worked.

I tried Doom 3 last night and it appeared a bit jumpy every few frames, is this bacause my 360 is set to PAL-60 (using component on a Samsung LE32R41BD) and this is a 50 Hz game? It was like playing Halo on an Xbox set to PAL-60 when the TV doesn't support it.

I run in HD, but my machine is set to PAL60, and I don't get that jumpy frame thing. Looks pretty sweet actually.
