A thought sprang to my mind - PAL Doom 3 is 50Hz only ain't it? That means people with a VGA cable still won;t be able to play it, unless the region-free US one works.

Stupid MS, my screen DOES support 50Hz over VGA dammit.

Here's a Q. When I first got my 360, I tried out Fable... it was jerky as heck, and the voices messed up all the time.

I know one update since improved things, but I never tried it. Dunno if this new update improves things further, is Fable at credible state yet?

A few people at EuroGamer say that the UK version of Fatal Frame 'Project Zero' does not work. Is that true?

Meh, although I'd like to know how well (or badly, more likely) Doom 3 runs. There's only a couple of games on there that I'd even play but since there's no Shenmue II or JSRF I'm going to go and sulk about how rubbish backwards compatibility is, even if I never use it.

Edit: nevermind, I got VGA and its doom 3 is 50hz.

They need to fix that. Make it a menu option to send 50Hz over VGA so that people can opt in if their display can handle it.

Don't know if it was before, but the Area 51 demo on the oxm is running really well, as does the Otogi 2 demo.
