Very disappointing if these are the only games they've managed to get working since Xmas.

I'm still crossing my fingers for a monster update with fixes for old games, and profiles for some of the bigger games missing (PGR1+2, Soul Calibur 2, Far Cry, Deus Ex 2, Black, Outrun 2/2006)

Considering He-man defender of greyskull never saw an Xbox release in any region, this updated titles list sounds dubious to me. Its like MS just went through a list of games that had been made/were going to be made for the original console and picked a handful from it at random, only to claim that they work on THEIR 360s, but as soon as you try, you get the same error messages.

This whole backwards compat thing is one big, disappointing ****e. Its been almost 4 months now since the first batch of games....

            -Ninja Gaiden? Black
            -SSX 3

SSX3 still has problems. It runs at a better framerate, and the sound judders are gone, but there is still the occassional giant smoke that pops up (forgivable), and most annoying... it still has borders on widescreen! It squishes the widescreen picture into 4:3 with vertical borders... argh. How could they have not tested it with widescreen?! Does anyone else get this problem? *sob*

Any idea if that update has actually happened in PAL land yet.

San Andreas would be good on the Xbox360 - if I remember correctly it was virtually unplayable as the black/white buttons were look left/right, the little remote control plane in particular was a nightmare. However, having those on the new shoulder buttons would be quite good.

Anyone played Ninja Gaiden with the new update?

I'd love to play it all over again.

Please, please, please, please let them have fixed the Ninja Gaiden Black slowdown issues.

I was really looking forward to playing this for the first time but the slowdown made it almost unbearable, I gritted my teeth through the first 4 stages but then gave up.

I wonder if Fable's FPS got sorted. Only time I tried it originally, my character literally could not move it was that bad

                          No outrun 2

I so want Coast 2 Coast to work - They should be starting with the NEW xbox games and working backwards the n00bs

Anyone tried black yet (pal version).

The team have spent their time rebuilding the emulator core so that the future udates can be quicker and have less problems. The reason there are only three games is becuase when gamers (In the US) were asked what games they would like to be most compatible these are the three games that were highest on this list that were possible to release for this month. They also had to focus on ensuring that games already on the list remained compatible becuase people would not understand why they are compatible one month and not the next. The next update is due for the end of April and will include a selection of games in the tens (more than 10 less than 100).

The slowdown has certainly been addressed for Ninja Gaiden Black but now the audio skips instead, at least on my machine

Update: Upon further inspection it appears it's only the PAL version that has been shagged.
