Wow, PGR 2 looks ace in VGA, Hardly much of a step down from PGR3!

Thhis "mip" issue people mention. Is that the way the textures on the scenary update from a lower res to a higher res as you move towards them? I noticed it whilst playing last night and it was quite jarring once I spotted it. Very noticeable, especially on the diverge sections.
Also, found another little bug in C2C. The coins in the grab the coins mini game in Heart Attack mode don't show up. Choose the left stage 2 and you wil notice
Hopefully, these issues can be patched.

There's another issue in C2C where sometimes at the end of the race, one of the background noise effects gets stuck, and you have to exit to dash to get rid of it.
C' - Pretty much all games do a certain amount of mip, but it seems to be very heavy on the XBox emulation. I guess in most games you can't really see it, Outruns very far draw distance makes it very visible though.
Of course, none of these bugs is stopping me playing it, and I honestly never expected to see thid game compatible at all, after even American Sega gamers ignored it.Last edited by sj33; 14-07-2007, 08:48.

I tried Silent Hill2 just now, and it's not really working for me.
The 360 accepts the game to the point of the original Xbox logo screen, then the screen turns black and remains that way. If you move the analog stick and press buttons you can hear the game moving through the menu on the title screen, but since you can't see ****, there's little you can do.
My console and game are both PAL, and it's displayed through VGA. But I can't say if it works better on any other specs.

Anyone knows if Tony Hawk 3 is in 16:9 widescreen? I have Halo and PGR1 and they are 4:3 which I don't really prefer my HDTV. Also, PGR1 seems to run REALLY slow, its like the emulation cannot handle the 60fps.
Also, any chance on Tony hawk 2x being region free? I heard its the best.
But my faith is restored, I think all games will eventually be supported. This is a big update and only a month later than the previous? It can't take that long to finally have access to Otogi 2 and Gunvalkyrie.

It's probably just as well this isn't working - I'd only wind up playing it all day when I'm meant to be painting skirting boards...
