Xbox 360 update

My (Japanese) DOA4 used to be very very noisy, and now I don't notice it at all, so I wonder if they added the new drive speed control utility in one of their Xbox Live updates for the game? Whatever happened, I'm just glad it's quieter now

I think it must be the initial SDKs - demo discs and such are quiet as a mouse on my 360 - shove CoD2 in there and it gets ready to blast off.

Don't know if I should admit to this but played King Kong earlier today and it installed an update. Haven't noticed anything different yet...

Or it could just be that you get used to it.

Playing Black last month was the first time I'd used the original brick for any length of time. After that the 360's noise was much more noticable. Now, after a little while of use, I don't notice it again.

I guess it's all quite subjective.
