Conversely the psp is suffering exactly because of its higher specs. With it being effectively a ps2 it therefore requires the requisite amount of man power and money to be poured into developing anything for it.

Unlike say, Metroid Prime: Hunters or Mariokart?

Seems to me that DS games with good 3D graphics take just as long to develop.

I've really been underwhelmed by the PSP so far, though there are a couple of notable titles that could make it win (Namely katamari, lemmings and powerstone collection) but all these different ports, and no new games of any decent quality.

It just bores me really. If I wanted to play burnout again, I'd play it on my PS2 or 360 again.

BTW all got me memory stick today. 2GB and looks fake as ****. However it does work, and that's all I care about. Yet to put any films on there, mainly because I've been playing PSP doom alot.

Bang on the money Kizzy. That's why I'll be selling mine shortly - was going to hang onto it for Outrun then realised the only time I'd use it would be on the ****ter - A complex series of mirrors and pad extender means I can pull off the same feat with my xbox version

If a dev made a psp game that looked like an average ps1 game, joe bloggs in a shop would take one look at it a say bollocks.

I've got PS1 games that look better than anything 3D I've got on my DS. So "joe bloggs" would only be saying that because they've seen what the PSP can do on other titles.

Get onto eBay and nail the seller. It pisses me off when people sell fake stuff. eBay is crawling with fakes and pirate stuff and yet they do sod all about it. They go on TV and claim they do care, but do they really? I think not - all that lovely commission they\'re making is too attractive to them.

Try looking for a DVD like Finding Nemo. It\'s almost impossible to find a real one.

My PSP just grows and grows at the moment. So many good games to play on it. Daxter is currently sat in the UMD slot but that should change tomorrow as with any luck my copy of Initial D should arrive (bought from our very own super trader buster )

My gaming time is limited at the moment due to my 7 week old son so the abiity to pick up and play for a bit before putting it to sleep is a god send (shame the same can't be said about the baby :P)

I got Metal Gear Acid 2 through the post today, but I'm not starting that for a while cos the Outrun love is still in full flow... I don't dedicate that much time to handhelds so games have much more longevity!

Daxter!

I recently got Jak & Daxter 3 on Play's sale, good fun, but sitting down "just to test" Daxter and i've spent 2 hours on the sofa playing it instead of the proper console game. Must save this for commuting....

Also been enjoying Armored Core: Formula Front International, Mercury, X-men 2 and another resurgence to play SNES games; Cybernator is really good.

I just got a PSP. Im loving Lumines its so addicitve. Smackdown is actually pretty good despite its load times. Tales of Eternia is just a great RPG it looks great on the PSP screen as well.

Just wondering has anyone played Dragonball Z Shin Budokai or the new Naruto game, because i really want one of them but im not sure which to go for.

Oh and IGN have a new trailer for Def Jam on the PSP and it looks great just hoping for online play to be included.

hey this is the latest i've ever posted here , people round, some still ain't left (piss takers) so i'm bored, and hey presto! i've found myself wondering onto the ntsc boards .

going to get a psp tomorrow, i was looking to get one before but wanted to get a 360 first, unfortunately my funds can't support a 360 at the moment to i'm getting a psp earlier than expected while i eagerly wait for a reduction in the 360's rrp. I never bought one before so i can't wait, the DS has never quite 'clicked' with me so hopefully the psp will, think i'll get it with a copy of GTA and pro evo, and a UMD movie of sexy housewives (porn, hey don't judge me)

It will be my first extended play on the psp, so i'll see if it holds up to my high standards
