      I just meant that the overuse of bi-linear filtering on textures (quite common on the N64) and the fact that the PAL N64 doesn't output anything better than composite (no s-video on my clear-purple N64 at least) meant that the game just looked brown and fuzzy.

        My PAL Zelda OOT looks fine to me, just as it did in the day, maybe it's because I've never played OOT on NTSC N64

          Agree 100% with Gunrock - I could never play N64 games at my friends' house because of this. They were always just so blurred and almost fuzzy-looking - I much preferred the rough but clean Saturn and PS graphics.
