Digital Eclipse really phoned that Super Contra conversion in. Even by their abysmal standards this one is rough. The border alone must surely be one of the worst pieces of videogame 'art' ever released. It's as if a photoshop filter went mad and digitally vomited onto the screen. And you can't even turn it off!

Decent game regardless, but Digital Eclipse need a serious slapping. Perhaps with a spiked mace.

I was wondering about that border art. They reduced it to 16 colours or something odd? There's some weird effects going on in-game too that look a bit out of place (when you shoot anyone).

Lots more stuff on the US Marketplace from Comic Con including TV and movies related items, it's a shame the US Video Marketplace is now territory locked.

The comicon stuff really gets on my nerves, particularly that I can't even download the Blade Runner panel (HD DVD & blu-ray) which I'd love to have seen. Microsoft has been dropping the ball badly of late with only securing distribution rights for the US, and so leaving every other country in the world out in the cold. It's particularly egregious as we actually pay more in Live subs than the US guys do, but get far, far less.

MS started this generation with a lot of good will from foreign customers, but they seem to be doing their utmost to squander it. From them going on and on about how wonderful the video marketplace is (if you are from the US), to giving away free Xbox Live Arcade games (if you are from the US), and now even going so far as to block every single piece of content from the bringing it home Comicon coverage...

They deserve to be slammed over this.
