Why is US marketplace getting Ikaruga a day early? I thought all XBLA releases were Wednesday?

What's going on with the Marketplace? I've just downloaded the Halo 3 Heroic Map Pack and am now downloading the GDC UE3 tech demo and the only option I've got during both is to Cancel Download, Continue is greyed out, and if I press B to go Back it cancels the download, so I'm stuck watching the download status instead of being able to do anything else while it downloads.

I have found that happens when you launch marketplace from a game.
You are on halo 3 and you goto download content and the marketplace option comes up for heroic pack, you will find you have to wait for 100% to be able to do anything where as if you goto dashboard and games and download from there it's fine you can click continue and arse around.
Its done it with me on Rainbow Six and couple of other games.

I was actually in the dashboard, navigated to the Marketplace and was browsing the Game Store. I've rebooted and it's back to normal. Weird.

New Def Leppard single gets early release on Guitar Hero

Def Leppard's new single “Nine Lives” will be available to buy and play through Guitar Hero on April 24, a week in advance of the single’s retail and online release (European PS3 owners will have to wait until the 8th May). The track will be available as part of the Def Leppard song pack which includes the new single “Nine Lives” and classic Leppard tracks “Rock Of Ages” and “Photograph”. It is the first time ever a band or artist has released a new single ahead of its traditional launch through a videogame.
