makes sense, most people will fire it up play it solo and wonder what all the fuss is about, there are a lot of games that are quickly dismissed in this way with live.

for example games like lost cities, puzzle quest, Carcassonne and undertow have been ignored by the majority of people on my friends list where as i have had many hours fun from them, it doesn't help when the quality of some of this years releases have been so poor the gems are getting buried in ****.

Ooof. 700 points? If I'd finished the main game I'd no doubt buy it though.

Stuff is up. Didn't play t'other game, I don't know of it, but Go Go Break Steady is basically Zuma/Puzzloop/Magnetica/Luxor/however many else of these there are in a new skin.

The aim of the rhythm bit is to get perfects, getting them gives you more "beatniks" to throw into the circle that surrounds the dancer, Zuma style, and you match three and they disappear and chain reactions and etc. It's annoyingly generic, as I was quite looking forward to it.

EDIT: The music clearly does its job though, it's in my head after one play.

Onwards, to the N+ levels now!

People aren't quite as old as you though I remember sticking plenty of 10p's into the original at my local seedy arcade...can't wait to get home and give this a bash.

If you're digging 1942 Paulos you might want to buy one of these t-shirts

Between this and the MegaMan 9 t-shirt getting a release I think Capcom are branching out in to the fashion world.

I like that. A lot. I just asked Mrs G if she thought it would be a good t-shirt design for me. Her reply:

Oh well. Maybe you can buy it and then stash it at the back of the cupboard like a naught mag.

Heh. I shovelled loads of money into the original 1942 (although it was 10 cent coins (NZ currency) in my case).

Had a chance to play through the trial now. You get one level and three different planes. I have to say that I found it a bit, well, plain (boom boom - DYSWIDT?). I really wanted to like this a lot but nostalgia just ain't what it used to be.

I found it a bit sluggish and a bit dull. Maybe that's coz I've spent too much time playing Raiden Fighters Aces.
