the pirates demo is everything that's wrong with video games.

poorly executed with very little polish. it has very few ideas of its own and instead just copies every action game cliche from PS2 platformers but with no style or flair. lazy game design coupled with no polish equals mediocre movie tie in.

a pirates game could have been really special if they'd come up with some of their own ideas and focused on one or two things rather than trying to do everything that every other game of this style does

I thought it was alright - I downloaded it because of its size (sniff off Halo3) to see how long it took - it rocketed down !!!

As a kids game (which a few people on here seem to enjoy playing a bit too much these days under the guise of "achievement whoring" ) I thought it was OK - I know what you're saying chops it kinda reeked of last gen (I presume it's across all formats) but I enjoyed it's not too taxing gameplay and I thought the graphics were pretty damn good !

Am I losing it ?

I noticed it was abnormally quick downloading Trusty Bell demo this morning, I assume they've put in extra servers/whatever because of the beta today!

Yes - And for free it's excellent and begs the question why hasn't anybody done a horizontal shooter on xBLA ?

4 player co-op in this too - Just played through with Nige it was really good fun - nice & simple.

It's free because it was made as an internship project or something. Worth getting.

Rubiq, yes once it's downloaded you should be able to use it on your normal gamertag account.
