The live show has finished but they'll probably be putting up a highlights reel up soon just like they did with the PS3 marathon.

A lot of them are quite large aren't they. I was worried for the sofa when 3 of them sat down at once. I was also a bit concerned by how crap the man playing Zelda was. "Where do I go now", he would ask when the little intro scene had just shown him what to do.

ExciteTruck looked very twitchy as well, I was definitely going to get this game but either they were all rubbish or it's very hard to control. More research needed.

Does the fact that you can play custom soundtracks in ExciteTruck mean that you only hear your song, or are you still able to hear the game?s sound effects along with it?
i have never used this option in a game before, so I have no idea about it. It would be great if it played in tandem with the soundeffects

I'm almost certain the custom soundtrack will just play your music instead of the in-game soundtrack, the sound effects will still be there

ooh, so they're doing a 360 with custom soundtracks then? any idea if you'd have to bung it all on an sd card or if it can be streamed?

                      probably not

Custom soundtracks in Wii games will come from an SD card. No word on streaming from Windows or OS X. I cannot see Nintendo bothering with streaming.

Sales of SD cards are going to explode as Wii owners rush out to buy cards for VC and custom soundtracks.

are SD cards used as memory cards for game saves too or is there a seperate memory card? sorry if this is a silly question :P

There is 512MB of flash memory built in to the console. I assume saves etc will go here by default.
Hopefully there will be an option to copy all you saves etc to an external SD card like using the backup RAM cart on the Saturn.

Yeah, Wii uses SD-cards for saves. Real mystery is, however, that does Wii support SD-cards that are over 2 GBs in size? Bigger cards aren't supported by many devices, as SD-card's standardization documents don't feature official support for higher capacity cards.
