When MCV said the Wii would release on November 24th in Europe David Yarnton said they weren't right, but were 'not far off,' so a release this year is 99.9% guaranteed, I'd say.
Will Virtual Console stuff be available everywhere, even if it didn't get a PAL release originally? If they put Earthbound on the Wii and don't let me have it I'm gonna be pissed.Comment

So what five titles would you buy on launch ?
(I was hoping for Zelda, Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Tramua Centre 2, Monkey Ball Banana Splitz and Battalion Wars II. )
Still it will allow me more time to save up for one

Me too, but it's a step in the right direction. Well done to all three companies for implementing this (well done to MS for doing it last gen). Maybe next-gen, we'll have region free like handhelds I was over optimistic that Nintendo might pull it out the bag this time around.
