More to the point of a forum like this one, anyone know what we should expect to pay to get a US Wii into the UK from the likes of Tronix?

Well ill just wait and see whats going on with the Euro launch before jumping in and buying a US Wii. Hopefully it will be out this year (im thinking between Nov24 th/Dec 8th) But we are talking about Nintendo here....

I read that Iwata is flying over for the Europe Announcement, wouldn't it be great if we got it first! Very much doubt it though.

Some 3rd party games are out in the UK on the 10th november that is confirmed to me internally

Uh, yeah, right...Japan 2nd Decemer, US 19th November, Europe 13th October. That would spoil my plans on getting a US console I strongly doubt that Europe will get a launch ahead of other territories, but I just hope that Nintendo won't miss this Christmas in Europe: they already advertized that the Wii would have been out within the 2006 worldwide and doing otherwise will put them on the same level as Sony...even worse, in fact, there shoudln't be too many problems manufacturing Wii's hardware.

With Sony dropping the ball so to speak it would make great sense to try and capitalise on that and get them out over here as quick as possible.
