    Gunstar Heroes
    Shenmue
    Viewtiful Joe
    Resident Evil 2
    Resident Evil 4
    Symphony of the Night

I can play all of these forever, and never be bored. Perfect.(^_^)

id agree a 10/10 game can have flaws. only if those flaws are totally irrelevant and the rest of the game is so good u barely even remember them. ocarina of time had a lot of chore like stuff but when the game was finished the whole experience was just amazing and emotional and it didnt matter at all.

For me some sane choices (and some i will no doubt be called on but hey its MY perfect tens lol)

        Resident Evil 4 (gamecube)
Brought me back lock stock to gaming along with
        Half Life 2 + ep 1
Faultless full of inventive ideas but its the personality in every frame that wins me over every time
        Sonic 2
I was a Nintendo man but this game wow ! the balence the charge spin how many times have i gone back to sonic 1 and tried to duck and spin lol
        Castlevania Aria of sorrow
I do like being punised in games i like an impossable challenge and this still kiks my ass in a good to own a gba way
        Virtua Tennis
Still the best and the ownly sport game i take seriously (and the only one i own)
        Sega Rally (saturn)
Everything about it feels right even today
        Soul Calibur
2 games later and the dreamcast game still looks better and feels better
Guilty Gear X For Matching service (dreamcast)
I normally hated and refused to play any 2d fighters that wernt streetfighter then sammy stole my heart !
        Killer 7 (gamecube)
Talk about a wake up call this and resi4 got me talking about my cube again i love when i just "get" a game (and love it more when others dont)
        Super Mario Kart
Like others have said it never gets old and always remains fun
Super Street Fighter II X (3do) + Street Fighter III Double Impact (xbox)
Two of the Reasons i have arthritis setting into my hands do i care ? no, would I stop playing them no matter how much it hurts to do so ? NEVER !
Dead Or Alive 2 (dreamcast) Dead Or Alive 4 (x360)
Not going to be a popular couple of choices these but as above when i played doa4 my thumb would dislocate causing stoppage time while i poped it back in and iced it, but i didnt stop playing and enjoyed every min of it.
        Gta Vice City (xbox)
Again for the feel. Its like lego it all fits together so well

Well, to me the only 10/10 game I have ever played is Zelda a Link to the Past. Just sheer gaming perfection. I never tire of playing that game. The artwork and evocative style married with explorative gameplay and those little "shigsy" touches. I still remember finding the dark world and simply going wow. Double the gaming heaven. Nintendo at its imperious best.

I think Matsuno is worthy of his ten scores in famitsu and would have given another of his classics the same. Final Fantasy Tactics. He's definitely worthy of the scores even if the actual games of his that got them are open to debate.

Can I say that they all deserve 10 now...? Possibly...

Can I say that these titles have struck some of the strongest chords with me...? Yes, without doubt...

Elite - For strangely still having the same pull for me now, (even in the fan-remake version that I play today), as it did in 1984... It... Still... Feels... Right...

Bubble Bobble in 2 player mode - For it's sheer undeniable insane fun... And for getting stuck in my Atari-ST, refusing to eject and forcing me and my friends to play it constantly for over a week until I eventually that in game tune became too much and I attacked it with a screwdriver... Don't worry, the ST was fine... can't say the same for the floppy though...

Dungeon Master - For making my first trip into the realms of the RPG so believable and so intense...

Descent 2 - For it's simplicity, it's level design, it's sound design, it's atmosphere and it's truly wonderous multiplayer mode... carting an entire PC and Thrustmaster Joystick to a friends house strangely never felt like a chore where Descent 2 was concerned... never...

Realms of the Haunting - For showing the PC world that wonderful execution and attention to design and detail could be brought across from the world of the Amiga so successfully... Sound design took on a whole new meaning for me thanks to this game alone

Ridge Racer - For showing me that apart from Stunt Car Racer, racing games could be damn, damn good fun. The jump from my SNES/MD/PC-Engine to this was just unbelievable and I don't believe will ever be felt in the same way again, (though seeing Soul Calibur running on my Japanese Dreamcast the first time was pretty, pretty special) . So, it ran at 30fps... So it wasn't an 'arcade perfect' port, but so what? For many of us it was the closest thing we could experience to having an arcade in our home. For me, it was perfect, the soundtrack, the feeling of speed and the almost orgasmic pixel perfect control and awesome feel of the powerslides... Hmmmm... Oh...er... I'll continue...

Half Life 1 - For giving me moments in gaming that I shall never forget, for making me thankful that I could afford the PC it was running on... and for being the first game that made me lie to my mum, as she walked into my room at 6 in the morning to wake me up for work, to find me still sitting at my PC screen after she'd said goodnight to me at 11 o'clock and asked if I'd been awake all night... to which I obviously said... 'No! Of course not, don't be silly.'

Shenmue - For making my jaw drop with it's graphical glory, for making me sit in front of a screen grinning like a loony for many, many, many days with it's depth and attention to detail, for making my ears truly happy to be working properly with it's gorgeous soundtrack and for making me want to marry an entire company... SEGA... will it ever, ever happen again...?

Ico - For proving that a concept so simple can be so, so deep and rewarding. And for finally opening my eyes as to what the PS2 is truly capable of if given the right amount of time, patience and love...

Zelda - The Wind Waker - For finally sparking my interest in a series of games that I had strangely ignored since they first appeared... and what a spark it was...

Beyond Good and Evil - A game criminally ignored that is oozing atmosphere, character and playability, and for once had a truly interesting and strong main lead female character...

Fable - It may not have fulfilled every promise that was made, but that didn't stop it from being the truly wonderful, magical experience that it was...

There are more, granted, but these are the ones that first spring to mind, possibly for the right reason, possibly not, some of which people will agree with, some of which people won't won't, some of which people may just not comprehened, but these are games with which I have shared truly wonderful experiences, that make me glad to still be a gamer, even after the ridicule and grief from parents and work collegues, after all these years, and hopefully for many years to come...

Jeez, I sound like a right romantisized old bastard...

Pok?mon Gold/Silver is an excellent choice, managed to improve Red/Blue so much, which seemed an impossible feat.

Banjo-Kazooie kinda took over my life when it came out, ICO's really been the only game that's captivated me in a similar way recently, though Animal Crossing was the reason i wanted a GameCube and Wario Ware rekindled my interest in games.

None - I'd never rate a game 10/10. There's always at least some annoying quirk.

                          Mine are:

Elite. No more necessary (except that there is a fantastic and very in-depth chapter in the book Backroom Boys by Francis Spufford, about how Bell and Braben made this game )

Eric and the Floaters on the Speccy. Still the purest and best single-player Bomberman experience.

Jet Set Willy 2. My favourite non-Mario platform game ever.

R-Type. Words failed me when I first played it as a kid.

Starglider 2 on the Amiga. You could fly anywhere!! One of the first games that truly allowed the player freedom of movement in the game universe, right down to almost seamlessly flying from space to the surface of the planets in the system.

Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past. Enough said about this I think.

Super Mario 64. For me this beats out even Super Mario World and SM3 as the greatest Mario game. It's just incredible.

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. No explanation necessary.

Time Crisis on the PS1. One of the first times my jaw dropped at what seemed to be a "perfect" arcade port.

Goldeneye.. just incredible, and I still play it. Now that's longevity!

                          ICO. No explanation necessary.

                          And finally...

Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. Yes, I know, not everyone will agree. But when the credits of this game rolled and the final scene of the end sequence was over, I sat there for about 10 minutes just staring into space and wishing I could play the game all over again. Absolutely magical.

Shenmue - Loved it i loved everything about it, the characters the story the action and who can forget the collecing all of the little figures. Everything about that game just felt right it just worked.

Castlevania SOTN - Being a huge CV fan owning all of the CV games ive gotta say this is still the greatest of the lot and for me the greatest 2D action game ever. Looks wonderful and plays as good as ever ( oh and theres no Gangsters or 50 Cent )

The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past

                              And...

Impossible Mission on C64. It does absolutely nothing wrong.
