And DC version of SSF2X will indeed make you all cry but trying to complete this on the hardest setting without losing a round and beating Akuma will make you have no eye brows like wise...

LOL - People complaining arcade mode is too hard? WTF? even on 7-stars this is much easier than any SF before it. You want to try playing SSFIIX on Dreamcast set to 8-stars. It'll make you cry.

Too true. Play the CPS2 SSF2T board to find the true defination hard.

I could easily 1-credit the 7-star SNES version of SF2 (dunno about HF). Still to get stuck into this version. I had a quick play last night. Kept coming unstuck against Blanka, whom I remember to be a bit of a wildcard back in the day. Can't get the all-important DragonPunch out under pressure, need to work on that.

Played 5 online matches, no lag, and only one cheap-win-addict, who continually used Bison's slide move. If I hadn't been rushed (wife was nipping my ear to watch BigBrother) I could've beat him, but he got a marginal 2-1 .

All in all, a good addition to XBLA I reckon, although the "timeout" thing was quite annoying. What gives?

I'm having probs connecting to matches, i spent a half hour to get a match in quick match but kept getting time out msg in the game after the 5 sec count down. I've good signal strength on my wireless, so i'm stumped to what the prob is

It happens when someone quits just before the match starts. It isn't anything to do with you or your connection

I have the Hori Turbo Ex pad and it works well for getting my spinning pile drivers out.

Really? Whenever it happened to me, it was because I was trying to join a game. When I hosted and let people connect to me, it was fine. I might have just been lucky then

There is a new breed of spammer. The spamming low slide bison whore. Following by flaming torp and lox slide. Lots of fun to pummel them. Met the same guy 3 times in a row doing it so used Ken, Guile and then Sagat to squash them. Nice.

Ranked mode does that by pitting you against people of the same skill. Though I'd guess right now everyone has a rather low rank and so it hasn't sorted itself out yet.

Exactly at first I was getting pitched against anybody and everybody, and often getting nailed. But after about 10 games I had a steady ranking and was from there on in pitched against players of a very similar skill level.

And I can't believe just how lag free it is, still haven't had a agem with a signla second of lag.
