I tested Project Zero II, it works, 4:3 with small horizontal borders (maybe vertical borders as well but I can't tell on my 16:9 screen.

The description on NGB in the list is not accurate btw, it's stretched on 4:3 monitors but it does have widescreen as on a 16:9 panel it works as it should.

The VGA issue is only for PAL machines and games. Because some PAL games don't have a 60hz mode, they won't play on a monitor (even though some monitors support 50hz).

Maybe that should have been made clear in the topic title.

A real problem is that although this list of games listed here work with a VGA cable, it all goes pear shaped when you want to go download new content,

Yep, just tried updating CS to play online and downloader doesnt work with VGA

Added Counterstrike + MX vs ATV Unleashed got black and it works boxed like burnout 3 non widescreen tho
