US Wii: Preorder Details Thread

DVDBO potsed me my Wiimote yesterday. I cancelled my pre-order a week ago and haven't had any luck getting one!

Juat a follow up on my own post - I have received a full refund through World Pay for my 2 cancelled Import Madness orders, so at least there's no problems on that front.

So much for them being shipped by Mondayft: Mine's obviously hadn't even left the country yet.... Out of morbid curiousity, I now wonder if/when my order would have turned up.

Yep, as you said, if you were able to cancel then they obviously haven't shipped anything yet.

BTW, Derek from IM just phoned my house there to confirm i was cancelling. He actually said that we 'just caught your orders before they shipped'.

Does this guy get a kick out of talking **** or what.

Just while it's in my head, when I spoke to him Monday night, he mentioned that they were due a large Wii shipment in by Friday if anyone's interesed but I would take anything said with a pinch of salt.

Through this whole experience, I am never, ever going near DVD Box Office or Import Madness again.

Ordered from Play Asia yesterday and it's already been shipped and is in a big silver bird in the sky as we speak. I know, I know, PA's steep, but i've been dicked around for too long first by DVDBO now by IM.

I've got no doubt that Import Madness will get everyone sorted but i've wasted too many hours and phone calls and e-mails getting the runaround.

68031 for the Wii itself and 682.. something for Excite Truck, Zelda, Wiimote and Nunchuk. They were all going in the same package I think.

Once again, DHL screw up my delivery and decide that its destination is Inverness and not Glasgow where I live, just phoned them and she was like "ohh its in the air now so theres nothing we can do about it, you'll just have to wait and see.."

Does he mean shipped from Canada or from their UK warehouse? Going by what has been said it should be the former but given the amount of lies we've been fed it wouldn't surprise me if they hadn't even left Canada yet

for sure! My brother and his mate who almost hate gaming played the Wii at the local mall and fell in love. His mate pre-ordrered and my brother told me when i get mine we have to play 2 player wii bowling. Just that alone made me deperate for it even more because they are not gamers. Also made me jealous as i have yetto even lay eyes on a real one
