Wii Reiterations
There is no shortage of Wii consoles in Japan. The current offer price of US$395 is a temporary gouge from suppliers. NCS advises customers to wait it out for ~2 weeks upon which time prices should drop lower

So no doubt the situation is similar in the US too.

marty G, As far as i understand alot of the hardware and accessories all went to the likes of toys r us and other major us retailers, the small fry and internet sites as such were left with nothing much. hence where the problems lie.

Has anyone got a refund from Import Madness after requesting their orders to be cancelled?

I emailed them on Monday night and last night stating that I want my 2 orders cancelled and all monies refunded to my Visa card but (suprise, suprise) I haven't heard anything back from them.

nope no tracking info from IM yet. will give them a call tonight and post back here. Got my Zelda from Gamestop and got hit by tax duty live and learn

i only ordered from IM once. I ordered a silver US Gamecube from them and it arrived 4 days after ordering. Very swift. However i remember at the time a gamecube forum was full of complaints about them, and IM madness was even posting their.

Sure - from 'my account' you want 'filled orders', then click 'view' and the DHL tracking code is listed there (and if you click, it will take you to the canadian dhl tracking page).

This from memory, so hopefully it's all accurate.

Seems my Wii is sitting at the Parcelfarce depot (according to the tracking) though I won't get the card through the door to say come get it for a couple of days. I'm tempted as I'm off ill here to borrow the car and go pick it up anyhow

PA have shipped my nunchuk I ordered, but not the remote. I wonder if they are overwhelmed with orders for it? Likewise the component cable is in processing too.

Juat a follow up on my own post - I have received a full refund through World Pay for my 2 cancelled Import Madness orders, so at least there's no problems on that front.

So much for them being shipped by Mondayft: Mine's obviously hadn't even left the country yet.... Out of morbid curiousity, I now wonder if/when my order would have turned up.

I called Parcelforce today, and the first helpful person I've ever spoken to at that company told me that, although my package hasn't been scanned yet, she can apparently see the bag that contains it, and could see that at least one item in it has been scanned. She pretty much promised me it'll be here tomorrow.
