US Wii: Preorder Details Thread

So has anyone actually got any solid proof of Import Madness shipping out anything at all? Or is everybody still pissing against the wind?

I think one person's order shows up as "Shipped" but mine is still Pending.

As it happens, my Wii is now 3/4s of the way over the Atlantic in my friend's suitcase where it's been ever since it was bought on launch day. I'm astonished to say that it will reach me BEFORE the Import Madness order.

Is his confirmed as shipping? I've still got him blue-grey coloured, meaning "tentative" (I was using a question-mark before I added the graph). Black shipping dates now pretty much mean "showing in DHL's tracking system", rather than "some random change to an update status on a website". Please don't take my list as gospel!

I'm sure yours is on the way, mate - either that or more Zeldas are expected in the next couple of days.

Yep, ordered a US Wii with Zelda yesterday afternoon and woke up this morning to a nice 'shipped' email.

Is it possible your mail program or ISP could have filtered your emails?

for some reason i some times don't get emails from VG+ (i didn't get any about my queue number, i had to mail them myself) so it could be that

however, i keep checking my account on their site and it still says in my order history that it is on the wii processing no cancellations status

so it might be a case that i haven't had an email AND they haven't updated my status on their site but i doubt it

Bleeders not that lucky , it hasnt left LA yet, and i was hoping to get it tomorrow, dosent look likely at the moment. unless fed ex are asleep of course.

I agree why not just make enough for everybody, and i didnt get everything i wanted i.e component and points card, its seems some things are real scarce stateside at the moment.

I do wonder sometimes given the lead time Wii manufacturing has had specifically, why shortages are even occurring, hasn't it been in production since July/August?

I slapped a Play-Asia pre-order for the Component Cable, I refuse to pay the extortiante amounts they're going for on EBay at the moment.

I've got my component cable just waiting for the Wii. I know i'd rather be without the cable more though.
