It seems so, yeah. If my order with them doesn't go through (which is what i'm expecting) i'll cancel and wait for my PAL one. Nothing to lose, really. Apart from importmadness stealing my 250 quid!!

I really want to play Zelda, but I flat-out refuse to buy a PAL machine. Speaking to a friend who works in an indie store the other day, the amount of PAL stuff that's apparently been pushed back to next year (Excite Truck, Wario Ware) leads me to believe, Nintendo Europe still don't have a ****ing clue.

I want to play Zelda over my two weeks off work at Christmas so badly that I'm buying a PAL machine at launch just to play it, despite my knowing that I'm going to be buying a US machine at a later date, and that I'll probably end up playing Zelda again on that.

People saying now they're not bothered about Zelda because VG+ have let them down is pure crap IMO. Get a PAL machine play zelda. you're a gamer afterall, sure this place is for importers but times are changing (ie sony) and it's time you got used to the fact that maybe you will be playing a PAL unit!
Not a troll, just a thing that bugs me about gamers. I know someone who said he really wants a Wii but wont buy because it's in black... doesnt sound like he really wants one then.Comment

You can see people's points though, surely? Nintendo of Europe are about as shoddy as they come, and if it wasn't for Zelda (or more importantly, my impatience) I'd be holding out for a US machine too. As it stands I'll just be buying a US one once they're available, and either selling my PAL one or keeping it on the off chance that the VC ends up with something on it that isn't on the US one.

I'm surprised at how forgiving everyone is being to VG+. Yes, I feel a bit sorry for them not getting any stock, but if they had any doubt why take pre-orders at all? Don't see what they have done is any different to the UK companies that were getting slagged off when the 360 launched. Personally, I haven't even received an email from them, so if it wasn't for this forum I would still be thinking everything was cool.Comment

It's not their fault they got screwed by their supplier. I don't think they could have seen this coming. I'm not pissed off with them, just disappointed I'm not getting a launch machine. Playing the blame game is a waste of time.Comment

Ah im going crazy now, all this news and previews of the Wii this week is going to drive me mad. It's calling out to me and it just sucks that I cant have one in time for the Christmas holidays. Dunno about you guys but I've got family coming down for Christmas holidays and it would be an great time to see if Wii is non-gamer friendly.
Im one of those people who said 'ah well ive got plenty of games onmy 360 to be playing' which is totally true, but I want Zelda god damn!!!!
Here's hoping VG+ turn around on saturday night and say 'Gotcha!!!, ha ha ha, we we're only kidding. We've got plenty of Wii for everyone!! here have 2!!!'

I knew something smelt fishy on stock levels, when i was told, where im hopefully getting mine from said they wouldnt know anything until the night before the units release date, it seems with release looming no one still knows what stock they are getting in the US at least.Comment

On another note I cant help but notice in the email it says
''Please note that you may not cancel game orders and keep wii consoles in queue without at least one launch software on file.''
I don't have a game on my order in the first place, just the console and an extra controller set. Am I gonna get screwed over in terms on when I get my Wii because I didn't have a software title on the order?!
