I still don't want to cave and pay stupid money for one because I know a few days later there will be 3rd party ones on the net for about ?25.

Well as I said previously I've ordered 4 sets of component cables. If any do arrive (please god let at least one arrive) and I end up with more than 1 set I'll be selling them on the forum at the exact cost that I bought them for (plus P&P of course). I hate extorion.

I hope so. I've ordered one with amazon, play, gameplay and game.co.uk just to make sure I get one.

I still intend to get my PAL Wii on launch day, but if there's only composite output available for now, the Wii will go unopened and unused, just as my PAL 'Cube was until I got hold of the official RGB cable.

My plan is to play Wii sports if i can only play in composite. I'll wait for component for Zelda, but i think it would hurt me too much just to look at the console.

EDIT, I played my 360 in composite as i had two options, play it in composite or don't play it. At the time i only had normal 32" widescreen but now i have HD the difference really is there, i can't have it any other way.

Thats my plan too. There is no way I'm ruining Zelda. Wii play or Wii sports I don't care.

Wii sports doesn't look that bad in composite because the graphics are basic.

Make your own Component Cables from a Composite Cable.

Posted last night but that was many pages ago

Might give it a try... it seems to indicate that you can revert it back to a Composite cable if it all goes wrong.

So just how bad is Zelda going to look in composite on a 42" plasma?
