So just how bad is Zelda going to look in composite on a 42" plasma?

I think it all depend on your individual TV. I had my PS2 running with Component on my Panasonic 42" PX60 and while it looked great (not many pro scan games though) when I switched over to composite before I sold it, it didn't look to bad.

I'll certainly not be not playing Zelda because of a cable. I'll post some pictures up tomorrow or Saturday of Zelda running through composite on my Panny for reference.

Just had a look on Gameplay.co.uk They still have the UK ones listed as being out on the 8th Dec. They have a picture of the box too, and it looks like the same style box as IGN Australia posted for their peripherals. This looks like all PAL box styles will be the same. My point is that if the box is official, then Gameplay might actually get some in. Most websites are just using standard Nintendo stock photos. I won't put a direct link to the cable because I don't know it it will be allowed, but it's easy to find.

Well I might just have to see if I can get a UK one now - I stupidly added Metal Slug to the basket when I ordered my leads from Play-Asia, and it's now been delayed to the 18th. I've been able to remove it from the order, but it's no doubt lost my place from this shipment.

If the component cables on playasia are on back order, then how come the people who have ordered late still have an estimated shipping date of 4th Dec?

Only ordered mine from Play Asia at the start of this week (after received Game email saying they were delayed) and mine says 'Preparing Order'.

Here's hoping it gets here by next Fri when I pick my Wii up from GameStation

People need to stop obsessing over the dates they give on these sites. Once somebody's order goes to 'shipped', then you can get excited - up until then we probably won't have a clue when any of these places are going to have them in stock.

Perhaps they noticed several thousand people suddenly cancel their cable orders and thought they had better do something about it.
