As you may already be aware, the UK release date for Wii Component AV Cable has changed to 22-Dec-2006. Changes to release dates are relatively common in the videogames industry and are unfortunately beyond our control.

That's a joke. Nintendo Europe getting shafted (then shafting us) again. I've pre-ordered a Jap one through Yes-Asia but I wouldn't be suprised if their stock goes straight to the states as well (that's what I'm assuming has happened here.

On a sidenote - this is a question for anyone with a Component cable....once you set your Video mode to 480p, do you still have to hold B to activate Pro Scan on Gamecube games?????

well makes me feel even more happy. Cant remember it stating that when i ordered which wasnt too long ago. Hopefully this means everyones order will be filled.

Playasia always seem to get a number of US game releases in stock before US retails do, so here's hoping they'll bob & weave & pull through for all of us pining for cable.

im really hoping that they ship them before the 4th which is the estimated date. The 2nd of Dec is a saturday and they dont ship items on weekends, so fingers crossed they get them a day or so early and ship them before the weekend. that way we get them before launch.

This really is mightly annoying. I've placed an order with PA, despite having orders for cables elsewhere. If I end up with two (unlikely), I'll flog one to a fellow forumite.
