I've had a Mad Catz one and now have an official one, there was no difference in image quality.

Ok I'm getting pissed off now. Is tomorrow still a go-er? My local Game, Gamestation and Games Centre all don't have a clue what a component cable is, let alone when they'll get one in.

Assuming it's not available tomorrow what are my options to get one before I'm off for 2 weeks to enjoy the machine at xmas?

someone posted it earlier. ordered one and it dispatched today, don't know what the current stock is like, but i would give it ago.

It's no "huge mistake" by any means because anyone who actually has, you know, brains understands it's a Gamecube port. And by looking around different forums, about 95 percent of gamers have been satisfied with their purchase and liked graphics. It's only tiny minority who has problems with them. Basically same moronic gamers who start to suddenly hate last gen's graphics when new stuff comes in (a.k.a. graphic whores). And it's really ****ing stupid to judge graphics after first two hours.

Sorry for being so 'moronic' and having a different opinon to you, your highness. Why is it when some people disagree they immediately become offensive and agressive...? Simply beyond belief.

we ain't had any delivered yet, no RGB SCART cables come in either so we won't have any on sale tomorrow gutted, looks like I'm gonna have to try my luck online.

Mine too, hopefully get it tomorrow. But using the composite cable the picture was better than I expected. Here's a picture of my Sony Bravia TV with composite cable, will post a picture with Component when I get it.

apparantly official cables are now due out on the 22nd. Just ordered a cable from Gameplay, will see if that turns up as I cba waiting for the official one anymore.

I'm looking into getting a Bravia when I get a full size HDTV (just on a small 19" Samsung atm) as I've heard they clean up component signal brilliantly in general

The Sony Bravia is amazing for SD source. My freeview picture is so good it's taken away the wow factor when I watch HD material.

When did you order the Gameplay one mate as mine does not even have a dispatch date next to it yet ( un-official Gameplay cable ).

Play-Asia have been "preparing my order" since Dec 3rd, it still says "Estimated shipping date: On or before Dec 04, 2006" and I can't cancel it at all. What are they playing at?
