Wii component cable

Zelda looks very good as you see from the picture I posted. I could quite happily play it just using composites cables.

I had a Sammy HD, it was great for HD but Bravia is in a different league when it comes to SD. I only have the 26" Sony Bravia, the 32" has a even better screen.

Have you got a model number/link for the 32 inch? Sorry for going off topic.

I have the 26S2010, the 32" is 32S2010. I'm sure there is a newer version out.

my component cable arrived from gameplay this morning

much better pic quality not 720p goodness but it doesn't do that and i wasn't expecting it.

zelda has lost the smeared colour bleeded messiness
wii sport look a lot sharper to my eyes
as does rayman (despite not being 480p??)
Mario 64 looks better as well

yet to try any megadrive games as i don't own any but overall a worthy purchase.

At least my box says that Rayman has EDTV support. US version didn't, which is actually quite surprising considering how things usually go.

am running Zelda on my 32" Bravia S series thru component and looks well pucka as many people reporting the game does look jaggy and has sharp edges. I think this is becoz in comparison to cube thru component the wii handles the image and its a lot sharper this time round. A quick flick on the sharpness control - down to about 12 setting and it looks fine to me now

can def recommened the Bravia models - truly great tvs for a console connex

Got my official cable yesterday from an awesome ebayer in Japan - Buy It Now on Sunday afternoon, shipped Monday, arrived yesterday! ?30 for cable, ?8 for shipping - expensive but not as bad as some on there.

Got to say that those who can't see much difference between this and composite must be on crack, or have ****e/poorly configured TVs. As said many times before, its not 720/1080p but no-one ever said it would be.

Now I have a decent video cable, I also got round to plugging the Wii into my receiver, and the Pro Logic sounds splendid, so much fuller than the regular stereo.

Just had a phone cable from my local Game. They have had a surprise delivery of official component cables turn up so might be worth ringing your local branch to check.

My local Game only received Scart cables for Wii today. Game's website has the component cable released on the 22nd.

Guess I'll call in on the way home and ask. Had an email from PA about the cable, they state they won't be getting the next stock of officials in until after Xmas. Doesn't affect me as I can't use it just yet, so as long as it makes it to me before I buy that new HDTV I'm going for...

I'm still playing in composite despite the fact I've ordered seven, yes seven component cables. It's ridiculous, Nintendo say ' less than 1% of gamers use component' well no ****. If they made them freely available I'm sure the figure would be closer to 50%.
