    Oh well, it looks like my 360 isn't coming home til Monday now, it's been in transit since last night and still is...

    The ****er about this is that it's in Eastleigh which is an hour away from me MS couldn't be arsed to pay for express delivery despite the fact it is their product that needed repairing within its first bloody year.

    No response yet from my emailed complaint either. Appalling customer services.

    EDIT : Can anyone tell me if they've recieved their 360 on a saturday please?

      ****ing marvelous, I've been on holiday since Thursday, til Tuesday and my 360 won't get here til Monday. Despite the fact it was sent Friday afternoon, it will take no less than 72 hours to get here. Disgusting.

      **** you microsoft customer services, seriously, **** you. Too cheap to use UPS Express...*****.

      (I'm really pissed of about this, it's not bad enough their console ****s up but they can't even do the decent thing and get it back to me in a timely manner and what really pours salt into the wound is that I've STILL not recieved a reply to my email complain!! ) ft:

        Bloody hell i'm a dumbarse, my thinking was the items were stuff like preferences and gamer pics etc. Still gutted about it but nothing i can do.

          Oh great, my second machine is now ****ed.

          It takes long enough to power up, then it hangs at the "360" screen, fan-****ing-tastic!

          Way to develop a piece of **** machine, Microsoft.

          EDIT - Temporarily rescinded on evidence of removing HDD and putting it back in, it *seems* to be behaving - for now.

            what are the chances of gamestation replacing my 360 without a receipt.
            i've missplaced it, and my xbox thats been working fine for 10 months has now started to freeze and i really dont want to send it to microsoft after reading how bad their service is.

                  I went so far as to write a letter to complain when I had problems with my machine - bascially HDD messed up, AND the PSU died - I had to send them back at cost to myself, so to this day I am ?20 out of pocket - all this happened barely a month after I got the machine!


                  I got no reply, ever, which I thnk is a bit much tbh!

                      update: gamestation swapped it without the receipt, they checked the computer and bob's you're uncle a brand new xbox360 and a new receipt (which i wont lose this time). Cant fault them excellent service unlike Microsoft

                            I got mine back today and have EXACTLY the same issues. The guide button stuff seems a LOT slower as well. Same as you I'm not going through that again, but have you any idea what it may be? I only ask as you've had yours back a little while and I'm wondering if anything has changed with that problem?

                            It does seem like a quieter machine. Was a bit of a pain in the arse to set up all my network settings again, but I'm back now and about to try Pro Evo 6...time to get excited about Gears again now!!!

                                I got mine back and have the same blade issues...its only a bit of colour and the games/rest of the dashboard look fine. What the hell is it? I can live with it but its a little disconcerting that everyone seems to have the same thing.

                                Also, if I register this new machine do I get another full 12 month warranty?
