I see at yesasia there's two version of the game, one is asian region due for 10th dec and the other is JPN blu-ray version due for 12th Dec, both the same price - so wot's the deal with the asian one, why's it out a few days earlier and its not blu-ray?...

Will probably be exactly the same, just with an english language instruction sheet for the asian version if previous releases are anything to go by (Minna no Golf 5 for instance).Comment

The Asian games usually seem to be released a couple of days earlier, I think they just get released on a Wednesday instead of Friday there.
I could be wrong but that's the way it's always seemed to be.
The disc format will be the same in both versions, for some games they list that it's on blu-ray and others they don't. Not sure why though.Comment

Doesn't usually quite work like that unfortunately!
We might get lucky and end up with it straight away but it's standard for downloads that you really want to go up at the most annoying times possible for everybody concerned for some reason.
