E3 2007- what are you expecting?

That's the general opinion of it, its decent and does the job but its not amazing or whatever. Still, Sony fans are getting exicted about the graphics, and although I do agree that people will look at it for the gameplay, the graphics will carry the hype along.

Sure. But this isn't really same Guerilla as before. They have borrowed some heavy talent from SCEE's GB studios, and hired over 80 new members for their team.

Yeah. 100 man team, alot of new and experienced talent. Big budget. They've definantly alot more capable than the team involved with Killzone, but they've made a commitment with the gameplay and I can see them being basing a large percentage of resources on the engine and graphics. Unless the game is coming out in like 08 or 09.

Wii could have the most interesting surprises, as we know next to nothing about the 2008 line-up.

I predict an all new franchise from Miyamoto, which will amaze everyone both in terms of gameplay ideas and visuals. Plus there will be some franchise returns with Pilotwings, MarioKart, Animal Crossing and Pikmin. Perhaps F-Zero too. I expect to see some impressive Wii exclusives from Konami, Capcom, and Squenix too, oh, and SEEDS will announce their first Wii and DS games.

360 might nab a few Capcom exclusives, and hopefully we'll finally see RE5. Dead Rising 2 should make an appearance too. Apparently Kojima is doing something on 360 as well, but it will I expect be throwaway, and MS will have paid a fortune for it.

As long as there's the usual cringeworthy comic twaddle from the press conferences (Riiiiiiiiiidge Racer! Miyamoto with Link's sword & shield etc, giant enemy crabs etc.) I'll be happy.

I'm slightly not looking forward to the unrevealing Killzone 2. At the moment, in terms of monkey **** fling fests between fanboys, I think its pretty decent, fanboys are keeping to themselves mostly, but if Killzone 2 manages to get anywhere the graphics shown in 05, it'll just be flaming and strategic trolling from fanboys (and specifically another Halo vs Killzone war again).

It probably won't be pretty but put it this way, I wasn't joking about having the fanny-whacker armed and ready.

Any stupidity on here and myself and other mods will be removing peoples access to the forums until E3 is well and truly over.

Just a gentle reminder for people to think before posting and a warning for those intent on causing arguments (as demonstrated in this very thread).

I reeeeaaaally want to see HL2 running on the 360. Just to put my mind at rest. We should see it this close to release right or are they just gonna feed us PC footage?

I'd love to see Wii Versions of F-Zero, Pikmin, 1080 and Wave Race - using the controller possibly ala Excite Truck but with more depth to the game and with online support [don't ask for much, do I].

I want to see a definitive release date for Half-Life 2 and the episodes and that on the 360, and what Rare is cooking up with Banjo and other suprises they'll have in store.

Half-Life 2: Orange supposedly already has one. 9th October in the US. I'd imagine it'd probably hit Europe the Friday after.
