E3 2007- what are you expecting?

i don't expect anything but hope for footage of Halo 3 Single Player, Gran Turismo 5, Ninja Gaiden 2, Gears of War 2 and of course Killzone.

it will be interesting to see whether the Games Convention will be able to match or even surpass the E3 in terms of numbers of presentations and announcements this year.

I just want one off trailers of the big titles im after.. I cant be doing with the usual "watch 50 minutes direct feed trailer... and ruined the game whilst you're at it" videos.

Wasn't the gameplay for Killzone 1 considered merely average?

Whilst the multi-player was poor (and rushed), the single player campaign - for me - was better than the one Halo 2 had to offer. The gameplay itself is rather good and say what you like about the graphics and art direction, I loved it especially the Helghast.

However, due to certain (hardware) restrictions the game did feel very linear despite some areas looking open ended and those situations where you would come across to some small rubble; you couldn't even get over those - invisible walls aren't my favourite ways to cut the environment size down.

With a huge budget being chucked to the development team and plenty of good staff from the SCE studios themselves, I?m sure Killzone 2 will surpass the original and offer a decent FPS experience.

Interested in Wii stuff mostly, as it's the console that gets the most play around here. No interest in KZ2, seeing as the first game was one of the few FPS games to make me feel physically sick after just 10 minutes of play . Although I guess it'll be 'interesting' to see how close they've got to that trailer

Something to convince me the PS3 is worth picking up (after a price drop or two, natch), would also be nice to see.

I'm not even sure if there's anything i'm bothered about seeing on the 360, Forza's all I need right now

Actually, that said, I'd like to see some PES 2008 footage!

That's too silly a time for me too so I guess it'll be a news splurge first thing in the morning for me too.

I want wii information by the shedload - original (non emulated) stuff on the VC or whatever they call that area, some more big IP's confirmed (online mario kart plz and some pilotwings).

PS3 - Delays and hyperbole about how Xmas sales figures will be much better and there's a megaton we don't know about yet. If they were to show bona-fide Wipeout sequel (not a pulse/pure update) running that could be the straw for my back.

360 - With so much already on the go I just want a few playable demos next week (stranglehold, Assasins, DMC) and the HD videos I was thinking with Capcom having released the LP demo during E3 last year and the response it got and sales it went onto achieve they may feel inclined to give us a DMC4 demo.......

Anything Alan Wake is going to be amazing, thats number 1 on my list.

Plus something decent for the Wii please, apart from Metroid and Mario.

Also it would be nice to know when all the extra coloured consoles are coming. I have a pile of Wii games waiting for a Black Wii to be released.
