    If that's true:

"Gargh, Microsoft I don't need any more blades!"

    and

"Gargh! If you're messing around with video notifications where's the option to turn off online notifications in game and keep the system messages still active (i.e. achievements)?"

Not really too much in there that appeals to me tbh. Clan support makes no mention of group chat so it's a little bit of a disappointment if that's not there.

And if the list isn't true then disregard most of what I just said

we should all start a clan and everyone join in? Now that the feature can be saved on our dashboard as clan members?

is xvid still murky waters? last time i visited the xvid site it didn't even have the codec available for legal reasons.

but then our philips dvd recorder plays divx and xvid and i'd think a company like philips wouldn't get into stuff like that if it was a possible legal minefield, so then i was wondering if the lack of xvid support so far was purely down to it being a rival format to ms's own codecs?

i'm still skeptical, but if it turns out true that would be fantastic as my xbox struggles a lot with the hd stuff

but i'm liking the marketplace 'searching by letter' idea. sounds logical anyway, as the amount of content starts increasing

                  can't be that hard surely?

What on earth is with that attack on Space Giraffe?!! Have you even played it? It's a super hardcore tempest game with LSD fueled trippy visuals. Does that sound like it's for 5 year olds?

He's got a thing against Giraffes. It's well documented on here.

DIVX is entirely legal as a codec, but there are some issues in the US with XVID apparently.

MS' problem with them both is simply that they are used primarily for pirated software, which to be fair, is true. But then, they support MP3 and that's the primary codec for pirated music...

Oh god - not another one! I actually like the marketplace blade, but there's already one which is ostensibly for Live Arcade...

Not related to the Fall Update, but Microsoft have added DivX and XVid codecs to their Media Center Extenders so it looks like Microsoft aren't shying away them any longer... I'd say its definately a possibility on the 360 now.
