PS3 won't be worth it until next xmas in my opinion. £^)

I have one and it's sitting doing nowt until PES comes and then probably GT5P, Uncharted and UT3. With a dash of Warhawk in between.

Very simple. Xbox 360 or PS3 for xmas.. My missus is being generous and letting me have one or t'other..

I'm swinging heavily towards the 360 at the mo, but every now and again I get this niggling feeling that I'll miss out if I don't get a PS3.

360. Have both and while I have loved playing Resistance and Motorstorm (still not bored of this), the selection on the 360 is just simply greater at the moment. You need to experience games like Gears, Dead Rising, Forza 2 and Halo 3 really.

By next Christmas I'd say you will really need to own both.

ps3 is not to bad but i would not get it for games that are not out yet wait closer to the time when its cheaper

well if you are thinking of teh future then id say ps3 (dont lynch me ). But if you are thinking of now and really enjoying gaming as it is then id say xbox360. Not only have you got the new games coming out that are mostly multiplatform anyways, but you have a back catalogue like Dead Rising, Halo 3, Gears of War, Bio shock etc.

If i was you id get a xbox 360 you will be a lot happier at xmas i assure you.

Your going to miss out on allot more if you don't get a 360. Just the back catalogue will keep you going for 2008 !

If your worried about MGS, then go hire yourself some Chuck Norris Delta Force movies, it's got the same quality of story writting that you get in an MGS game

oh i must say as well if i was not a pc gamer then the appeal of the xbox 360 would have been much more (like with bioshock and oblivion i got them for the pc)
