I'm still not understanding why you'd recommend I should steal something that I've stated several times that doesn't appear to be particularly good, I've at no point even hinted that I'd be interested in stealing it. I've also stated that I'm not willing to give it a go unless it is included as a part of my PlayStation Plus subscription?

It's not as if I've shown any enthusiasm for the game since it;s been completed in any of my posts but I honestly don;t think that;s what your posts are about.

As seems to happen in other threads once Beavis replies to somebody, irrelevant of what it's about then Butt-Head seems to feel the need to join in for whatever reason.

That does work both ways of course.

I have no issues with that happening to be honest as it tends be quite funny at times and I'm very happy to take part in it but it just seems a bit pointless if you're having to make things which are almost the opposite of what other people are saying to be able to do it.

Back to the important thing which is of course this game.

Maybe in time when things have settled down then it may not be as bad as the majority of people are suggesting at the moment but I'm just not seeing any reason to want to hand over money to try it. I certainly have no reason to want to steal this or any other game whether I want to play them or not.

Some people on here and other places are thinking it's OK even if it's hardly going to go down as an instant classic and I'm always happy to listen to other people's opinions and I'd rather hear the positive things about it, particularly when they've played something which I haven't but at the moment I'm just not feeling any need to play this.

Either I get it as part of my subscription or I don't, either way I'm not going to mind which of the two it is but if I did get it I'd much rather give it a go and be in a much better position to judge for myself whether I do like it or not.

Wouldn't it be rather ironic that if the Wii U version that is in development by some other developer actually turns out to be the best version after all despite most people, including me, thinking the worst for it? Or is it just me being too hopefully optimistic

Judging by the reviews and peoples reaction this the game this might actually be the case.

I seriously doubt the Wii U version will be the saving grace, the game suffers from huge underlying problems that I don't think in a million years could be magically fixed solely for that version. I'd say the PC one will be the best, as the graphics probably look nicer. But if I were you, I would stay well away from it regardless of platform.

Haha, just fired up AvP 2010 to get rid of the vile taste of ass this game has left with me and the online is actually quite busy! This horrible game seems to have had a good effect to AvP.

AVP 2010 isn't actually that bad a game , and at least the Aliens get to climb over the walls, also the MP was always ok on that too, even if being an alien and climbing over walls took a bit of getting used too.

This game had a bad vibe with me from the start, sadly it looks like its come to fruition.

Oh well one less game to buy

I enjoyed playing as the Predator. The human and alien campaigns were more miss than hit but jumping through the trees at the start as the Pred was ace.

Although kickboxing is my favourite sport I'm not convinced I look that masculine due to my physicality.

I do tend to travel due to my profession and although I'm not the most knowledgeable when it comes to the history of names I'm fairly sure that John is a man's name in most countries. Again, I may not be the most girlie of women but there are attributes that make it fairly obvious that it's a name that wouldn't suit me.

Close, but no cigar. Quite figuratively in this case it seems!

When are reviews supposed to be released for this as they seem to be flowing out at the moment? Is the game out tomorrow?

Anyway, I'm hearing the games multiplayer components are developed by Gearbox whilst single player was developed by TimeGate Studios

Hate to say it, but I wouldn't get your hopes up too high for Colonial Marines. I used to work at Gearbox, and the development of that game has been a total train wreck, going on what, 6 years now? Gearbox isn't even making the game, except for the multiplayer. Primary development was outsourced to TimeGate Studios, which has a less than stellar past.

I hope it proves me wrong, as I still have alot of friends still working at Gearbox, but I am expecting it to be average at best.
