Been playing Civ IV: Colonization alot, really good game, I think I may even prefer it to the normal Civ IV.

Still wading through Eternal Sonata, I am still enjoying it but am getting impatient as I have Orange Box on the way and would really like to get De Blob as well.

Last week was fairly quiet for me games wise.

A little bit of the FIFA & PES demos, the (I feel) broken Wii version of Samda de Amigo and more WipEout HD (it's soooo good!)

Busy week at work this week so I doubt I'll play much for the next few days.

Come Fable II release however I have a whole week off work so I should do some pretty solid gaming then...

                    Counting down the days.

                      A bloody lot!

Mainly been Tales of Vesperia on the 360, but still bits of The World Ends With You on DS (even though I've now hit the level cap). Since I got the 360 online though I've gone on a binge in the shape of Megaman 9, Rez, Symphony of the Night, Geometry Wars 2, and Puzzle Fighter, which I'm picking bits off inbetween Vesperia sessions.

To top it all off nicely, had a temporary borrow of Death Smiles. Was very impressed, but also suitably shocked to find how easy it was. Will definitely push for it to be my first Cave 1cc. Nearly took down the 4-2 boss on what was only my fourth credit, so can't imagine it taking that long once the 360 one hits

Tried to get back into Ys Age of Naphistm (sp) but when i took stock of Yakuza 2 i had to avert my attention to that.

Im itching to play Silent Hill Homecoming, but cant be bothered importing as im heading over to the states soon. But the prospect of Alone in the Dark 5, Saints Row and Deep Space coming out soon has me excited lol..........

God of War : Chains of Olympus - PSP

The blood letting has really helped me on my daily commute, a great stress reliever. Even when replaying the same section over and over, 'cos I've run out of magicks...

                          Half-Life 2 - PC

Just got to Nova Prospekt. Loved the battle outside with the two flying hoovers and all the ant-lions chopping down the combine

Decided to stick in DC mode and try out a game I've been saving up for a rainy day: The Nomad Soul. Enjoying the unfolding story and found it interesting that there's more than a hint of GTA: SA in some of the gameplay elements. I'm wondering if the designers at Rockstar N 'borrowed' from it later.

I've been trying to stick to games I can dip in and out of, play in 10 minute bursts. With that in mind, I've been playing WipEout HD and Mario Kart Wii. Top stuff, gives me something to practice on while at uni, and both have free online play!

It's interesting, many of us have found ourselves enjoying games less now we're older and are able to run out and buy a new game anytime we want. With that in mind, my new strict university budget sees me having to make the most of the few games I do buy, and I'm really feeling the benefits, put real time into the above games, and have gotten progressively better at them as a result. Just like back in the day, when we were all really good at the games we has because we could only buy 3 or 4 a year and made the most of them!

I am tempted to grab Siren when I get a free weekend. I love Resi to bits, but I'm longing for a real survival horror rather than an action horror.
