I think I was just a sucker for the presentation as music in Type 4 tbh. I went back to it a while back an was like "meh".

Have to say the vids of GTi Club look fantastic. This and Wipeout HD pretty much gives PSN the best driving game lineup of any platform

S0L, do Sumo ever get together and brainstorm or take note of large requests for a certain game i.e on forums.....to which classic racing games or any other genre for that matter, hardcore gamers would love to see "rise from their gwave!".

Do you personally have any games you'd love to remake?

Believe me, we have loads of discussions about what we'd like to look at :P

For me personally if I could do anything I liked regardless of budget and licensing, it's two games that leap immediately to mind.

One I constantly suggest is a proper updated version of Atari's original Star Wars trilogy. Do a Pac-Man Championship / Galaga Legions style update, and make Return of the Jedi a vector game (unlike the original). George if you're listening, give us a call :P

The other I'd love to do is an updated Super Hang On, a proper full on bike arcade game, but it wouldn't be what you'd expect :P

Anyway - I digress. I've pointed the GTi guys towards here, so you never know, they may pop in

Not what you'd expect?? ... I hope the idea is good - because I was playing Hang On the other day, and it's a really nice game.

It would be great - if you could take the style of Outrun2( blue skies, lots of colour, imagination) ... but use bikes instead. Put in all the coolest bikes - with a bunch of interesting characters.

I was watching that programme with Ewan McGregor - where him and his mate drive across America. That sort of bike tour - is much like the stages in Outrun, so it would make for a great game experience.

Outrun Bikers. That would be cool.

I've read some really stupid comments from some people on other places but they seem to be from kids so make sure you don't pay too much attention to them.

Cant wait. What will make or break this for me is the online part.

I hope that we can opt to host our own games, so those of us with decent lines can try and get the best experience.

I also hope it supports trophies and is "Import friendly" in terms of not region locking online based on machine region.

Lets also hope for some Sumo easter eggs!

Anyway, fantastic news, and be sure to update us when you get the job to do Power Drift/Virtua Racer/Enduro Racer/Vittua Racer/Daytona or Scud Racer!

One thing is for sure, the quality of the game code will be excellent, just look at Outrun PSP, Xbox & PC, or ineed Virtua Tennis.

I just hope the netcode will be up to the job.
