I too am glad to hear shotguns are less powerfull. Seems like other guns may get a look in now with multiplayer.

Much improved, when I chainsawed an opponent (or got chainsawed by an opponent) they were pretty much right next to me. Saying that though one of my mates did sucked into a chainsaw when they were a distance away from each other, that was just the one instance though.....could have been a random bug

Thanks! Sounds better than before, used to drive me mad. With the new stopping power of the weapons, the idiots who run around for 2 hours doing nothing but revving the chainsaw won't be as much of an annoyance

Has anyone ordered from Zavvi before? What are they like for delivery on launch day? Do they use signed for?

I've ordered CDs and DVDs in the past that have arrived the Friday or Saturday before release. They didn't use signed for delivery, but it might be different for games. When I pre-ordered GOW2 CE it just said first class Royal Mail. To be honest I wouldn't mind it being a day or two late as its ?11 cheaper than GAME, and I have Fable II, Dead Space and Fallout 3 to play!!

When I preordered the Gears LCE with HMV using free delivery it was sent Special Delivery the day before and arrived release day morning. I wonder if Zavvi will do the same due to the value and size because it's a fat tin.

Still trying to work out my plan. I seriously doubt the LE will fit though my letterbox and because I work all day it might be too much ballahce to get to the post office at the crack of dawn to pick it up. My current idea is to order from Game (got loads of loyalty) online. If it comes on the thursday then yay, if it doesn't then I'll go to Asda at midnight to hope they have the LE. If they do i'll pick one up and play into the wee hours. Then when the game copy comes I'll take it back, sealed, to asda for money back.

Usually i proper stress out about getting special editions. I was a sack of nerves last year over my Halo legendary but this year I've decided to just walk into asda and pick it up with minimal fuss. Only ordering the extra copy online as an emergency back up in case they Asda don't have any.

Shopto are generally good but their deliverys require signature so are a bit arse if you are out at work all day.

Play.com are the best in my experience. Always a day before release or on day of release.
