You would think that but when I took inFamous down with my invoice (after I found it cheaper elsewhere) the staff are GAME were acting like I asked them to solve a complicated maths equation. Eventually they said I have to do it online and cannot return it in-store. I guess some stores "allow" it and some don't.

I think they all allow it but maybe on the day u went in they'd had a lot of refunds that wk & it doesnt look good for their end of wk profit, err, I mean 'sales' targets. Its a sly game they play but its what they do. What do they expect when they're charging thru the roof prices just for the convenience of popping in to buy?

Or what could have happened, as i've seen a couple of times, the last four digits of the card number weren't printed on the invoice and so a refund wasn't able to be given because they require the original card it was bought with, if that can't be verified then a refund can't be given, think they've fixed that now as it hasn't happened in a good while, i don't think, or maybe the person serving didn't know how to process it as a normal in store receipt comes with a barcode that needs to be scanned to allow a return, an online receipt doesn't, and needs a managers code to override, if the manager wasn't around then nothing can be done.

I checked my tesco account and it now says dispatched as I too order in the deal they did, though i'm a little miffed as sainsburys are now advertising it for £26 on their tv add and everywhere is now cheaper than the offer i already paid for.

They wouldn't give my Indie Uncharted 2 early because apparently indie shops were all breaking the street dates. All my mates who bought from play, shopto, amazon etc. already had their copies of course.

as of this afternoon there was 7 people on my flist playing the ps3 version...........
im off in an hour and a half to pick mine up from game.........it had better be damn well worth it as im @ work @ 5am.

man the sheer volume of the games/consoles that came through my work on friday was unreal, 2 40ft trailers ram packed of mw2 and that was just for edinburgh alone.

hi sorry if im asking this in the wrong place, if i buy a super cod elite,can i transfer all my data from my red resi 5 elite,


my original xbox was the white one and i only transferd the data onto the red elite about when resi 5 came out this year, when i clicked on the licience transfer tool it says your next opportunity to use this tool is: 19/03/2010 14:25:43 UTC. does this mean i cant transfer to a new 250 g hard driveuntil then again

What do you think the stock levels will be like for this game? I have not pre-ordered and am considering venturing out for midnight launch im sure Game and HMV etc should be well stocked but not sure if they are open for pre-orders only, what do you guys think about Asda and Tesco's? I remember Tesco's only haveing like 20 copies for WOW:Wrath of the Lich King and only 50 or so for GTA4?

Can only use the license transfer once a year, this was mentioned when it was first released. Can transfer the data between hard drives of equal or larger size as many times as you want though. License transfer tool is only an issue if you're not connected to live.

Typically Game wont sell to people at midnight who don't have pre-orders.

I'm at the Forestside (Belfast) midnight launch now and it's packed.
Easily 5 times the crowd compared to midnight the Halo 3 launch.
Had trouble parking in the main car park, btw forestside would be the biggest Game store sales wise after the two city centre stores.
