As much as I loved the first and the trailer got me hyped, the realtime APB stuff was more attractive to me

Correct me if I'm wrong but you just killed humans in the first one, so looks like they have put some meaty boss battles into this one? Trailer also seemed to suggest the need to get the hell out of an area before it goes boom - leaping out of areas full of enemies when health was low sticks out in my memory from the first one so this could be fun if that's included!

I think this is a great idea for a sequel

Not sure about the monsters, but happy to see this game. Hope it's not trying to compete with Prototype, I liked the clean comic book sheen of the first game. Not every game has to be dark and dingy.

There were those annoying mutants in the first game. I guess some beasties that can pick up cars and do big jumps like you could be fun

Real Time Worlds were offered a deal to make Crackdown 2 but turned it down because of commitments to APB, so surely they can't be miffed if Microsoft take their property elsewhere.

4 player is great news. To be honest, keep the old engine, improve the frame rate so it's solid, a few different weapons, and that's all I'd need

I loved the simplistic graphical style of the first one, the lack of emphasis on textures & detail helped keep the game nice & smooth too.

One of the reasons for that though was because it was originally in development for the the XBox and they reused many of the XBox game assets in the 360 version.

All I hope is that they don't over complicate things. Crackdown was a very minimal, pure, functional gaming experience. No fancy story or objective based missions, you just killed bad guys

Sounds good especially 1-4 coop, I hope they sort the art style though. I enjoyed the game but I hated the looks. I know others would disagree but it was a hard style to like, just a weird hotch potch of three styles.

I'm glad to see Crackdown 2, but I'm not impressed with the zombie/infection element. Obviously this thought is subject to change until I've witnessed the final product.

We don't know what they meant by infection yet, theres no zombies shown but there is a 'beast' shown coming up from sewers in shadows
