    Epic Mickey [Wii]

Late last year, Gamasutra said they'd heard of a game Warren Spector (Deus Ex) was working on with Disney. Said it was a "steampunk" title. Looks like they were right on the money.

    Wha.......

I have trouble believing Disney would authorise such a dark game with their characters but if the game's anything like those concept images, this could be a must buy.

Whooo that concept art is beautiful.

I'd love to see that get made.

The Mecha Goofy is freaky as hell too.

Could be awesome if it see's the light of day.

I've got my fingers crossed for this one.

Some of those images are the stuff of nightmares! Just look at that wall-climber thing next to zombie Goofy... it's like Dumbo's dream sequence mashed with Silent Hill. It puts the ****s up me now, I can't imagine what a small child would think of it.

And was this thing intended to look like a Hieronymus Bosch painting? because it does. A Disney branded one. blimey.

that said... who here wouldn't play a Disney/Deus Ex mashup in which Mickey Mouse runs about getting J.C. Denton-style nano implants? If Disney has really has gone fully insane, I'll be paying for a front row seat.

Weird, despite being a Disney game, the art style stopped me from expecting this but according to CVG this is going to be a Wii exclusive

GamesRadar+ takes you closer to the games, movies and TV you love.

I've just got a feeling that Disney wouldn't let this get released or it won't nearly be as dark as art suggests. Afterall, the reason there are keyblades in Kingdom Hearts is because Disney wouldn't allow 'regular' weapons

There's a full version of this floating around (has versions of the haunted mansion and It's a small world on it), awesome piece of art.

The design is barely any different but for some reason I'm finding that image of Mickey really freaky. Eye is definately out on this one.

I'm still amazed Disney are letting him make such a dark game with Mickey but I guess that the immense success of Kingdom Hearts means they're more open to non-traditional uses of Disney characters in their games.

This is a Wii game according to gi.biz (Not sure if this is known already). Don't have a problem with that (I have one at home waiting to be unwrapped by my daughters at Christmas), but I won't deny I'd love to have seen this concept given the HD treatment.

I just hope the content in the game matches the art style. I want it to be disturbing.

Are there any wallpaper sized versions of any of this art as its absolutely stunning?

My only complaint being, why on earth would you try and cram something that could be so visually stunning, on the least powerful console, sigh. This screams HD.
