Isn't it Nathan Fillion (Firefly, Serenity) in the Halo games? They do sound mad similar though!

Just checked and he is in Halo 3 and Wars! That could be confusing if he and Fillion start talking at the same time.

I thought I was going to be original by spurting out Nathan Drake. But alas, he is deserved of the praise. Naughty Dog created a charasmatic individual with charm and charisma the likes of which I dont think we've seen in a game at all.

My favourite new character this decade? I think it just might be that loyalist of friends from Fable 2.

Crimeny. This is a toughie.

There've been openty of great characters, like Dante from DMC, Alex from Half Life 2, a couple of characters from Deus Ex, Viewtiful Joe, most of the cast of Killer 7 (especially Dan Smith), GlaDOS from Portal, Phoenix Wright and Miles Edgeworth from Phoenix Wright, Agent 47 from Hitman, and Karl Hyde from Hotel Dusk.

But my vote goes to Yorda from Ico, and the weird final boss woman from Rez.

Garrett from Thief is the greatest character ever, btw. So there.

Just like Gordon Freeman, he doesn't say anything at all but I loved being in control of Isaac from Dead Space. I think in this case the suit makes the character.

A tough question for me, but I like Kratos for God Of War. He's a proper bastard, but one that I like. Plus he is one of the hardest game characters ever. Kind of like a mythological Phil Mitchell.

Despite some good ones it's gotta be Nathan Drake from Uncharted. The characterisation is just perfectly done with some awesome lines

Love Balthier, stole the show in FF12. Well voiced and well scripted.
