Top Ten Must Have PSP Go Games

Wow we are all getting heated up aren't we? Lol! I can totally see why thought. All Sony have really done is try to re-launch the failing PSP. I don't know if they'll succeed but I think the Go is an ace machine. Here's why:
1. It's much more comfortable than prior models. I can play for hours without getting numb hands and all the buttons are way better.
2. The ability to save-state a game (shame it's only one at a time)
That's it really. It's more comfortable. The device is now, for me, usable for longer periods of gaming. Previously I would play for an absolute maximum of about half an hour (I've had 1000, 2000 and 3000 models). Playing GTA the device would actually switch off because my palm would be gradually pushing the power switch up! Some would argue that this doesn't make the Go awesome, it just means the previous models were badly designed. I wouldn't argue with that.
I had, and still have, an old PSP (I realise this makes me an idiot). I hardly ever played it. I have 4 UMDs for it so not a huge investment and i intend to sell it all, albeit for very little money I'm sure.
Maybe I'm encouraging Sony to go along a route that we, as gamers, should not be happy about. I would be worried about that if it weren't for the millions who will pay Activision's £10 greed tax on MW2, or the yearly roster updates to EA.
I paid Sony's ridiculous launch price for the PS3 and I've paid the silly money for the PSPgo. I don't regret the former and so far I don't regret this either. Time will tell I guess though.

Well I have PSP 2000s and 3000s and over 50 UMDs but I am still happy with my PSP Go purchase. The form factor is miles better, the analogue stick is much better for games, both in position and build and the screen brings new shine to old games. I bought Colin Mcrae and Tomb Raider Anniversary and seeing those on the Go screen amazed me. TRA in particular looks amazing on the smaller more tightly packed pixel screen.
Earlier on I bought Rock Band for £3 odd. It only has 5 tunes but I am not a big fan of these rythem games so I figured would give it a go. Had a quick bash and quite liked it so I looked at the song lists for 99p and spotted Wonderwall, my fav song. So for £4 I have a rythem game I can play and enjoy with my fav song. I never thought I would say it but thats good value for me from the PS Store. Its swings and roundabouts though with some of the other game prices.

They just need to get more decent games out and not just first party support. I hope Capcom continue with MH and hopefully a graphically scaled down, but perfectly working SFIV portWell if Namco can do it...
I reckon the Minis scene will do very good. Just need more quality games.
Actually, if the PSP Go's screen was touch screen and a second nub was added, I reckon it'd be a sure fire hit. Missed opportunity me thinks.
Anyone know if a Phantasy Star with infrastructure play is in the works?Last edited by hudson; 07-10-2009, 21:14.

There's the usual trailers on youtube but nothing yet that really shows the infrastructure side of things.
http://www.pso-world.com is usually the best site for Phantasy Star info though you'll have to dig around.
http://bumped.org/psublog/ this place has some details too.
