Today Wipeout HD and Fury content launches for Wipeout 2048. Those who own the games for PS3 can download the content for free.

The news about wipeout is amazing i still think wipeout HD fury is one of the best games on the PS3 , and the fact that i can now play it on the go for free is something i cant wait for. with this and gravity im still pleased i bought a Vita.

n00b alert. I have to buy wipeout 2048 for Vita and then I can get the wipeout HD tracks (I bought wipeout HD for ps3 already)?

EDIT: Haven't decided which account to use on Vita yet. I have equal amounts of PSP purchases on my UK and US accounts. I only got demos on my JPN account.

YEs you do need Wipeout 2048 to be able to play HD fury for free as long as you have the ps3 version,

Wasnt so interested in this before knowing this! Was expecting a cut down port, but really like the spec op side of mw so hopefully this will be worth a purchase then

yes Zavvi and the hut are one and the same. Shopto are miles faster!

My local games shop (Playcom) has stopped stocking Vita. Guy said there was just no demand at all, and it was not worth stocking the system. He said the PSP sold very poorly, and this time they werent prepared to stock after a poor initial sales of Vita.

PSP hardware sold very well worldwide. Perhaps he's not a very good shopkeeper.

And Unit 13 remains the best game on the Vita. If COD is anything like it, it will be awesome.

I bought asphalt 7 for iOS this morn and it's a virtually identical port from the vita version. Only major difference is ios version has better car detail and lighting. I paid ?17 for vita version and 69p for improved version on my iPad. Its a worrying sign how fast phones and tablets are catching and overtaking the handhelds. Take a look at the new Amazing Spiderman game for ios from game loft. It's got the full free roam experience from the home console versions while the activision 3ds version has stuck indoors levels
