The official SCEI one is what I have. I don't really see the point in the full fascia protectors personally. There's no real reason why you'd need to protect the rear touch panel either. ?7 is a decent price I suppose, but if you buy the starter pack you get one in there.

It's a bit more than that. It has much improved graphics and multilayer and has tracks from various asphalt games. I ordered it for ?17.99 which I think is good value for what it contains

I think gameloft are tapping into what I call shiny shiny syndrome, typically at the launch of a new console, releases are limited, so gamers standards lower and a game that wouldent get a second look mid-console life can do quite well early on.

I had the 3DS version of Asphalt, it was alright, I soon traded it in without completing it though. If this did as good a job showing off the power of the Vita as the 3DS version did of showing off 3D I'd be more intrested, but the graphics seem mediocre at best.

All things considered I'd givve the 3DS version 4 or 5 out of 10, and this will probably get about the same.

Asphalt sucks hard.

Eight games in one go is suicide IMO. You'll never get to appreciate them fully, and new, better titles will be out before you have got through half of them.

Anyone know why the load times on this seem to be so long? Is it a hardware thing or just because they're early games? Saw that wipeout is nearly 120 seconds from boot up

Apparently there's a patch out for wipeout that improves things a reasonable amount (25-50%)
