I'm assuming the Ambassador Certificate is for the 2nd wave of games made available??
Yes its to keep you updated on the GBA titles and updates

I guess having the certificate installed allows them to target a push to the right users for the GBA titles. The only way to specifically push the NES stuff to the right people was by placing them in the downloaded list and have them 're-download'.

To be honest, although some of them are classics, I can't see me playing them much. Nice gesture Ninty but I'd have preferred $50 of e-shop points.

Roll Up , Roll Up , Roll Up , get your 10 free NES games with no saves , how about a chocolate watch while i go for a sauna Ninty? WTFAre these the full games? No - Nintendo is calling these "priority delivery versions". They are missing a few features, notably saving restore points - although you can still quit to the Home menu while playing. Official versions of the games will be launched later for a fee, although 3DS Ambassadors will be able to upgrade free of charge.

No saves at all or just no save states like they do on the GB games?

Don't know where you've got that from, Zelda features saved files just as it did on the NES (or at least my copy does, I'm only assuming it's the same for everyone).

As for save states, it doesn't have those YET, but they're being added to the updated versions later in the year.

It was announced weeks ago they wouldn't feature the save state feature, at least not to begin with. Both Zelda games feature emulated battery backup too. 30 hours to finish NES Zelda, you doinitrong.

Well I got my games. Having to go through the purchase history was hilariously awkward. Can't believe that couldn't have been done better. Anyone know how to delete items from my home menu? I have a load of videos I don't need.

Is correct. Not loving the whole "unwrap present" nonsense on the Home Menu, either.

                          NEWSFLASH: This ain't the 1980's anymore, Iwata-san.

Try tap and hold on one icon. I know it then lets you rearange them ala IOS style but that maybe the way of deleting too

You go into System Settings > Data Management to delete stuff.
